In the first stage of the manufacture of the solar collector. Copper pipe and the copper sheet are molded together to form the element, a special heat absorbent coating is applied, this is then put in to it’s aluminium casing, which contains specialised insulation. The unit then has a safety glass front fitted. Next it is then pressure tested. Finally a plate with a serial number and the date is fitted to the finished unit. Throughout this whole process, the Quality control department keep a constant check, to ensure the highest standards are maintained.

Stainless steel sheet is rolled to form the storage tank’s cylinder, the top and bottom are then fitted, when all the seams have been welded by machine, the process continues with the addition of the insulation layer, then the protective outer coating is fitted before a back-up element and control board are added.

Finally after testing a plate with the date and the tanks’ unique serial number is fitted.
