Jeseniky Mountains are the highest mountains of Moravia and Silesia, the regions of Czech Republic. The average altitude is 1350 meters. Jeseniky Mountains have two dominant features: Praded in the east (1492 m) and Kralicky Snsznik in the west (1424 m). Jeseniky Mountains consist of Kralicky Sneznik, Rychlebske hory, Hruby Jesenik and Nizky Jesenik. We offer the accommodation in cozy apartments, hotels, pensions and cottages. The area has never been suitable for agriculture because of specific soil and climatic conditions. Due to this fact there has never been many towns and villages. Apartments and hotels in Jeseniky Mountains offer very good base for hiking, cycling and winter sports. Ski-area Kares – summer skiing and mini speedsters in Kouty nad Desnou. Visit summer attraction for small and big. You will go up to the hill with a lift and than it is only up to you how quick you will go down. The refreshment is at place.

The Czech Republic is an advanced Central European country with increasing standards of living. Its rich history has left a significant historical legacy, spectacular architecture and beautiful cultural works. Personalities of past and present times remain a source of pride for the Czech Republic. Many Czechs have received worldwide recognition in different branches of the sciences, arts and sports.
The Czech Republic has been a member state of the European Union since 2004, and actively participates through membership in a wide range of international organizations.
The Czech Republic welcomes several millions of tourists annually. Visitors usually come seeking culture, sports or relaxation. Thousands of businesspeople, students and expatriates live in the Czech Republic on a long-term basis.
The Czech Republic is located in the Northern Hemisphere, approximately in the middle of the European Continent. Its neighboring states are Germany (to the west), Poland (to the north), Slovakia (to the east, which together with the Czech Republic constituted Czechoslovakia until 1992) and Austria (to the south).
The Czech Republic does not have access to the sea. The main watershed divides the catchment areas of the North, Baltic and Black seas. The closest seas are the Baltic and the Mediterranean - both of which are very popular destinations for Czech travelers. The main rivers running through the Czech Republic are the Elbe (Labe_ (370 km) and the Vltava (433 km) in Bohemia, the Morava in Moravia (246 km), the Dyje (306 km) the
Oder (Odra) (135 km) and the Opava rivers (131 km) in Silesia.
From a geographical point of view, the Czech Republic lies on the boundary line of two mountain ranges. The hilly western and middle part of Bohemia is formed by the Czech highlands and the slightly higher mountain ranges of Šumava, Český les, Krušné hory, Krkonoše, Orlické hory and Jeseníky. The West Carpathian Mountains (Beskydy) lie in the eastern part of the country.
