In the Limassol district
there are many archaeological sites to visit, also many pretty wine villages in the

Limassol, is south of
Nicosia, it is the centre of the island's wine making industry. Every September, Limassol

Limassol city is a popular tourist destination
that is located on the south coast Cyprus, some of Limassols
main attractions are the Kourion and Lemesos Medieval Castle. Getting around Limassol is fairly easy as the city is well connected
through an efficient, cost effective bus service promoted by the EAL bus
company. With a minimal fare of 70c, you can travel any distance along
the city's beaches from 7 o'clock early morning to 7 o'clock in the
evening. The buses travel between all popular resorts of the city and
their frequency is also quite good, however, don't wait for a Sunday bus
as the buses don't run during that day.
If you want to go to
the interior of the island you can opt for guided tours or special
buses, in case you plan to visit Troodos, you can easily do so with a
modest ticket of 2.5 Cypriot Pounds. Bus companies such as Peal Troodos
have opened up shuttle lines at a cost effective rate to suit
travellers, buses are handy if you want to visit certain places in
Limassol, for instance, if you plan to take a trip to the Digenis Caves,
try going there by a bus to save yourself time and effort.
